Q: Broken pivot / tilt feature on late 2013 27" iMac

my screen used to tilt / pivot and hold position and then recently just made a loud crack and no longer will hold any position. It is stuck in permanent down facing tilt . Questions - 1). Is this covered under warranty even if more than one year old? Can it be fixed at local Apple store?

2). Can this imac be wall mounted using VESA 100 standard wall mount ? I would like to remove stand and wall mount with extension arm and pivot if possible.

Please help with answers to 1 and 2 and if you have suggestions for wall mounts for this iMac please provide links.

1a. Yes
2. Check with your local AASP, it may or may not be possible by design.

If your AASP can not or will not make a mount modification, there is an aftermarket iMac Visa Mount Adapter Kit.
